The Inspiritone Process works on all standard electromagnetic pickups (Guitar, Bass, Steel, Humbucker, Single coil etc…)

The process can not be done to active (built in preamp) or piezo pickups.

Yes. There are three different levels of processing and you can use any combination of those levels for your guitar.

That is completely up to you. Although in listening / playing tests, the difference was so stark that the processed pickup made the unprocessed pickups in the same guitar sound substantially worse. We haven't yet found a pickup that didn't significantly benefit from the process, so if you are going to the trouble of removing a pickup from you guitar and shipping it, it's probably worth doing them all.

We have processed many vintage pickups and the results are stunning, but there are a couple of considerations when working with vintage pickups:

1. Vintage pickups tend to be fairly delicate and prone to damage, so even removing the pickup from its guitar and shipping it could cause damage to it. The process itself is very gentle hand has never yet damaged a pickup, but the risk is theoretically higher with vintage pickups. There is no warrantee on processing vintage pickups.
2. Common reasons that a vintage pickup sounds bad are weakening magnets and failing coil insulation. The Inspiritone process does nothing to help with either if these issues.
